Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program Coordinators’ Meeting

The Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER) is the executive department of the Government of Puerto Rico tasked with protecting, conserving, developing, and managing the natural resources of the islands.

The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), founded in 1970, is a public corporation responsible for
stimulating, promoting and regulating the development of Puerto Rico’s tourism industry.

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program (WSFR) works with states, insular areas and the District of Columbia to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, their habitats, and the hunting, sport fishing and recreational boating opportunities they provide.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) is an agency of the federal government within the U.S. Department of the Interior dedicated to the management of fish, wildlife, and natural habitats. The mission of the agency is “working with others to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the people.
