VENTA DE MARBETES EN EL PROCESO DE RENOVACIÓN PARA EMBARCACIONES A TRAVÉS DE ENTIDADES COLABORADORAS

(SALE OF BOAT DECALS IN THE RENOVATION PROCESS THROUGH COLLABORATING ENTITIES)

This request of proposal is approved under the provision of the faculties conferred to the Secretary of this Department by the Law of Navigation and Aquatic Security of Puerto Rico (Law No. 430 of December 21, 2000, as amended), the DNER’s Statutory Law (Law No. 23 of June 20, 1972, as amended), the Reorganization Plan No. 1 of December 9, 1993, and the Uniform Administrative Procedure Law (Law No. 170 of August 12, 1988).  Law No. 430, before mentioned, authorizes the Secretary to approve controls that will regulate the sale of boat decals through collaborating entities.  To comply with this charge it’s necessary that the collaborating entities fulfill the minimum required standards established by the Puerto Rico Treasury Department and the DNER.

The documents for the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available at the Navigation Commissioner’s Office, Eighth Floor of the Dr. Cruz A. Matos Building, located at Sector El Cinco, Road No. 8838 Km. 6.3 Río Piedras, Puerto Rico from Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) on March 10, 2008. Also, the RFP will be available at our website: www.drna.gobierno.pr.

The bidder must submit his/her proposals in closed envelope at the Navigation Commissioner’s Office, Eighth Floor of the Dr. Cruz A. Matos Building, located at Sector El Cinco, Road No. 8838 Km. 6.3 Río Piedras, Puerto Rico.

The DNER reserves the right to accept or to reject proposals and their awarding will be recommended to the Secretary under the most favorable conditions for the DNER.

Before the submission of the formal proposal, any questions and commentaries should be sent in writing to the Navigation Commissioner’s Office to the following address.
